Clear Aligners in
Brandon, MS

Clear aligners are a modern solution to traditional braces, offering a virtually invisible method of straightening teeth. They are custom-made, clear, removable dental appliances that gradually shift your teeth into their proper positions. This treatment is designed for both adults and teens in Brandon, looking to improve their smiles without announcing it to the world. Unlike traditional braces, clear aligners are comfortable, removable, and almost invisible, making them a popular choice for people wanting a discreet way to straighten their teeth.

Why Should I Get Clear Aligners?

If you're self-conscious about your smile due to crooked or misaligned teeth, clear aligners could be the perfect solution. They offer a way to achieve a straight, beautiful smile without the inconvenience and discomfort of traditional metal braces. Clear aligners are also highly effective for a wide range of cases, including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and deep bite. Plus, with clear aligners, you can eat whatever you like and maintain your regular oral hygiene routine, as they can be conveniently removed for eating, brushing, and flossing.

Consultation and Examination

Your journey to a straighter smile begins with a consultation at Burke Dental Group. During this appointment, Dr. Amanda Burke will examine your teeth and discuss your smile goals to determine if clear aligners are the right treatment for you.

Custom Treatment Plan

If you're a good candidate for clear aligners, Dr. Burke will take digital scans of your teeth to create a precise 3D model. She will then use this model to develop a custom treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and the duration of your treatment.

Wearing Your Aligners

Once your clear aligners are ready, you'll need to wear them for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss. You'll switch to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks, as directed by Dr. Burke. Each set of aligners will gradually shift your teeth towards their final positions.

Comfort

Unlike traditional braces that have wires and brackets which may cause discomfort, clear aligners are smooth and comfortable to wear. They are custom-made to fit your teeth perfectly, reducing the risk of irritation to your gums and cheeks. Plus, there are no wires to be tightened or brackets to be adjusted, making your orthodontic visits much more comfortable.

Convenience

Clear aligners are removable, making it easy for you to eat, brush, and floss as you normally would. This means you can continue enjoying your favorite foods without worrying about them getting stuck in your braces. Plus, you can maintain your regular oral hygiene routine without any extra hassle, promoting better overall oral health during your treatment.

Confidence

With clear aligners, you don't have to hide your smile during your orthodontic treatment. They are virtually invisible, so most people won't even notice you're wearing them. This means you can smile confidently in social and professional settings while your teeth are being straightened.
