Lauren Whitfield is a lifelong resident of Brandon, MS. She takes immense pride in her community and in her role as one of our dental assistants at Burke Dental Group. Since 2018, she’s been working as an assistant, and her passion for dentistry grows each day. She genuinely enjoy all facets of her work, but what she cherishes the most is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients. Our patients’ comfort and care are always her top priorities. Outside of the office, her life revolves around her wonderful son, Eli, and her family. She loves spending quality time with them, whether it's an afternoon at home or an exciting outing. She is also a dedicated LSU Tigers fan and loves to travel to Baton Rouge each football season to cheer on her team.
She resides in Brandon with her husband Chip and daughters Anna Grace and Sydney. She started her dental career in Alabama where she was a dental assistant before attending hygiene school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). She has experience with all aspects of dentistry and enjoys it all. She loves to travel and is always up for an adventure, enjoys watching a good Netflix series and making memories with her family.
Misty is married to Scotty (over 23 years) and resides in Pelahatchie. They have 2 children Harley (newly engaged to Nathan Yow) and Eli (freshman at MSU). A graduate of Mississippi college and a member of the AADOM, Misty has been working in the dental field for 10 years and enjoys learning new things daily! In her spare time, Misty loves spending time with her family, reading (and genre), spoiling her sweet pup, Winchester, and traveling. She has worn may hats in the dental office, but she especially loves getting to know the patients!
Wendy graduated from Pearl River Community College School of Dental Hygiene in 1994. She began her career in Laurel MS and now has over 28 years of experience in general dentistry and periodontics. In 1995, Wendy married her husband, Craig, and moved to the Brandon area in 1997. They live in Crossgates and have two daughters, Stella (medical esthetician) and Claudia (Senior at Brandon High School). Wendy stays busy with her tanning business and spending time with her family, watching Netflix, and spoiling her fur babies, Marli and Piper. Wendy loves being a dental hygienist and takes great pride in helping our patients achieve excellent dental health!
Hannah is a native of Pearl, where she currently resides with her husband, Connor, their little boy, Elijah, and two fur babies, Oliver and Pongo. She is a graduate of Hinds Community College where she earned her certification for Dental Assisting, and has 5 years in the dental field. Hannah and her family moved back home to Mississippi from California in 2021 after her husband served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps. She loves seeing her patients, sharing smiles and laughing with them. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her houseplants, and picking up the newest fiction novel.
Kendred (Ken) is a lifelong resident of Morton, where she resides with her husband of 25 years, Michael, and their two sons, Garrett and William, and their dogs Charlie, Lulu, Red, and Lady. Ken began her career in the dental field in 2014 after a career in teaching at Morton public schools. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but loves the opportunity to build relationships with patients, making them comfortable while helping them look and feel confident with their most beautiful smile! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going on adventures, trying new restaurants, and working out to stay physically fit.
Sarah started her dental career in the US Air Force in 1988 as a dental assistant. She then received her dental hygiene degree from Pensacola State Community College, and has continued to serve patients for over 30 years! She and her husband Kenny, a minister at First Baptist Church in Brandon, moved from Enterprise, AL in 2019 and are now calling Brandon their home! They have two daughters, Amelia and Abby, who both are following their career goals in Alabama. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, crocheting, golfing with Kenny (she's a fair weather golfer, not 90 degrees!), and watching her favorite British detective shows!
